Crémant d’Alsace is a sparkling wine produced in accordance with the “méthode traditionelle”. Six varieties of grapes are used in the production of Crémant: Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Crémant d’Alsace may be either white or rosé - for this latter variant, only Pinot Noir grapes are used. The majority of Crémants d’Alsace are considered “brut” to the taste.
On the nose, Crémants d’Alsace reveal a pleasing blend of fruit and white flowers. On the palate, they are blessed with a remarkable finesse and great balance.
